Having problems with my Umarex MP5K

So i was screwing around with the mock flash hider when the lever to lock it on got stuck while it was off the gun, the damn thing won't budge. Can someone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

rather han push it in or pull it out try sliding it up or down parrallel to the lever itself. it is spring loaded and should move easy. dont force it. as it will move. one side of hat lever has a u shaped hinge and it sounds like one of the legs is bound.
