Having revolver cylinder machined for moon clips?

Buy some Safariland Competition II & III speedloaders and practice with them . Don't ruin a nice 66, & a 686, it will become an orphan gun, seriously eroding the value.
I have a lot of comp 2 speed loaders, Usually place first in revolver for top pistol matches, But I still think moon clips would be slightly faster, I don't see how it will be an orphan gun? After the conversion you can still use a speedloader or load the rounds singly since the rimmed round can still headspace on the top of the cylinder
I buy guns with zero thought of reselling them. If I mod it and it loses value, well, I'm sure the hit I take would be worth the fun I got out of it. Then again, I've only sold 2 guns in the last 30yrs. Probably why it takes me months of research before handing over the credit card.
I'll still be able to use a speedloader, manually load or use moon clips. Nothing in the workings has changed, if not, I've just upped the features.
I have modified one of my 686's to moon clips and it was wonderful fantastic. Now I use the 929 which of course is moon clips. Completely worth it.
The guy that did mine is a professional metal jockey. He has done a few 686's. I will see if he is interested in doing another. If so he will PM you with a $. (So if you hear nothing then.....well..... thats cause he has seen you shoot and wants nothing to do with it

Murray Charleton does it in Victoria. Bumble Bee customs also does it in Prince George.
