Hawke scope claim? ( large pictures attached)

Has anyone had positive or negative experiences, my sidewinder 3o has a interesting mark appear in interior glass. I'm so scope genius and I know it's not rocket appliances but I don't see how impact could have done it. I baby my rifles and after a range session and cleaning it looking through glass it appeared. I know it's not on lens because mark dosnt move when I turn the focus. Any feed back would be great. Has been a awesome scope thus far.

This is a stupid question, but have you looked at the objective lens? Looks like a blotch of mud.

Cleaned both can't get the right pic but looks like a stone chip or a flat mark inside scope disappears once it's part 10x

possibly a flake of black paint from the inner tube wall ... shaking it may dislodge it

I have a few hawke scopes on air rifles and I had a piece of the powder coat come off the inside of a 2010 hawk eclipse30sf. called and an email they gave me a file # I shipped back about 4 months after I bought it and 6 weeks later a new scope came. great company to deal with no worries they will help you out.

I over nighted it through my company so i dont really know just told my girl to ship it asap as fast as possible. I have found the best way to ship things for return is with tracking # aswell so if you think its taking long you. Can call and you know when they got it.

Update, huge bonus got ahold of hawke to get a claim so I could ship, what do you know you can ship to the new Canadian distributor....11km from my place!!!

Walked into distributor with scope walked out 5 mins later with brand new scope with the box shade wheel and everything else the sidewinder comes with no charge. Great product IMO

Glad the warranty worked out so good for you. I have read some good reviews on the Hawke scopes....Its a UK company with the scopes being made in Japan.

The Hawke Frontier line is made in Japan, everything else is made in China....

They will not sell to public it's monsen's outdoors in Peterborough. My last one tracked great and I have proven the old box test with it. They explained it was oil they use inside the scope. Never lost zero just was annoying seeing it. People in the past would need to ship to the US and the process would take 4 weeks or more it took me 5 mins. Last scope was a Burris and still have a bushnell elite this one with the 30mm tube even though it is suppose to me a lower quality scope is comparable I'm not sure apples to apples with a 1" tube would be. My model is a sidewinder 30 4-16x50mm
