Hawke Scopes.

I had a varmint 2.5-10x44. Great scope for the money.
Clear and held a solid zero.
Found the 1/2 mil reticle a little thick for percision shooting.
Had it on a 22lr that I would shoot out to 250-300yrds.

I have a Sidewinder 6.5 X 20 that I think is a great scope for the money. I just put it on a Savage 10TR and am quite happy with it.

I've got two. A sport model (with IR) and an endurance model. The lower end stuff like the sport models are decent optically, but nothing to write home about. I would hazard to guess you could put it on a 30 cal centerfire rifle and it would hold up just fine. As you get into the more expensive models the glass gets much better. I think the glass on my endurance model compares favorably with a Nikon prostaff I have.

Had lots of them and never an issue. Get my deer every year with one. My Savage Axis 270 shoots 1inch groups with a 3.5-10x50
