There is an online dealer here in Canada selling a new line of scope/binos and spotting scopes from a manufactuer by the name of HAWKE. Dont know where there made or the quality of these... but the prices seem to be an excellent deal. Upon emailing him and asking how good these are... his answer is (and you guessed it.... ).... "If these werent any good, i wouldnt be selling or recommending them" and to where they are made, he didnt answer. So... has anyone looked through these yet? How do they hold zero against higher recoil guns, ect??????

The dealer that I bought my high powered air rifle from tried to sell me one of those scopes.I did some searching and comparing on the internet and they were too similar in appearance to tasco scope models for my liking.Coincidence possibly, but it was enough to make me wonder.

I know that Hawke Optics are from the UK, have a limited lifetime warranty, and are rated for spring air rifles. In case you don't know, the double recoil of spring air rifles are very hard on scopes. These scopes will be able to handle the recoil of a magnum rifle. Having said that, I have no personal experience with Hawke.

I am well aware of the special requirements for high powered springers.I went with the leupold 3x9x33efr.It's not the brightest scope for the money, but it is airgun rated and hasn't given me any problems.
