I have a Hawke Varmint II 6x24x44 scope and am very happy with it. I like the Mil Dot reticle. The scope is mounted on a CZ 452 Varmint. I installed an Eric Brooks trigger group ( 110 grams) and the rifle shoots like an Anschutz.
