Its a pistol scope I believe. Makes sense with the long eye relief. I would assume pre 1974 as there is no letters in the s/n.

I had one, it's a pistol scope with very long eye relief. I sent mine to Leupold and they gave it a free service

Sometimes he posts normally and I'm not sure if it's his written language earworm making me understand him better or that he slips up. Maybe one day all of his text will be comprehensible to me, and I will no longer make sense to others?
