Hey guys, i just got finished reading the FAQ on M14 inspections. and i was wondering if anybody has had any head spacing issues as described in the faq on their newer M305's? (the ones purchased since the price hike)
Mine "newly import shorty" is on the loose end but still passes the NATO field reject NOGO gauge, So I only fire 7.62x51 brass or 308 steel case in mine.
1.636 to 1.640 seems to be the "average" since 2009
Other smiths who handle these rifles may or may not be keeping notes but according to mine, I conclude the above average
