to help a rookie hunter chase moose. I've never been there, know nothing of the area, but buddy really wants to hunt moose there, so away we go!

anyone have any lines on local farmers we could beg for land access? wouldn't mind chasing a doe with my recurve. told the little buggers are quite the problem up there

thoughts? buddy is a Uni Student and just looking to fill his freezer, any legal animal will do....

I just got home from Chetwynd last night! ANd yes, there are a ton of dear up there.

I wouldn't worry too much about access to private land, though. Chetwynd is surrounded by millions of acres of public forests, with great road access.

Happy hunting!

Yes it's restricted to private land. You must first secure the landowner's permission (get it in writing) and it includes crown land within 2000 meters of their private property.
