Heads Up! A Chrome SVT-40 on the EE.

Fwiw, if the intent is to trow the rifle in the bottom of an Inuit canoe as a beater, chrome is perhaps a good idea. Better on a chrome bore SKS.

I rather doubt the seller is a mountain man though.

How about a nice SS BNZ K98K with matching serial numbers and scope.....in techni chrome...inside and out.
What a way to ruin a rifle....atleast there's a million SVTs, Mosin Nagants, SKSs' around.

I haven't seen an MP40, MG34/42, 1919A4, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine or an M1941 Johnson Chromed before either.....I hope I never do.

Not to my taste but if I were to chrome something like that I would leave a lot of the little parts, bands cleaning rod etc jet black for the contrast.
But I still wouldn't do it. Different strokes....

I traded xtrail a couple SKS's for it. Here she is compared to a Finn captured Izzy from '41 - the chromed SVT is also from '41 but she's a Tula
