after along hard search hunting for a bent bolt for my 1939 (not wanting to send my bolt in the mail for a gunsmith to cut off the straight handle and possible losing the original number )

i have found a company in the USA who will mail bent bolts ( see description ) to us where we are not considered an far away foreign country

I'm not familiar at all with Mosin Nagants, so excuse my question, but is there no problem with headspace?
Does the bolt head do the correct headspace regardless of the bolt body?
 
$90 US + shipping is a little steep, wouldn't you think? Or is this a part that is unobtainable here?

At least our money is moving up again.

Mosins have become the new collectible items in the US. I am surprised that Sarco shipped it directly to you. The bolt part is under ITAR regulation I believe. I had a Carcano made for Japan Type two bolt body turned down because I would need paperwork on it.
