The Tremont Fire area is posted closed for hunting.
Check the "BC Wildfire" site.
The restriction covers a pretty vast area surrounding the Tunkwa Lake area.

Not sure how long this restriction is in effect.
Some homework so you won't be horribly disappointed.

I was wondering how many areas would be posted as no go due to "Wild Fire"....
Disappointed is one thing another victim (dead) of wildfire is another.

So sad. We were talking about this at the shop last night. It does make sense to close certain areas, but I hope it is short lived for those effected. You know the liberals... once they learn they can close something or cancel something or ban something... or even reclassify something *cough*, they do... and do it well!

Most of the Elephant Hill fire zone is still closed to pretty much all access, including cutting firewood, apparently, to 'protect the moose' that nobody has ever seen there.

Expect more than a few years to pass before you get back into the ol' stomping grounds....

You are reffering to the NDP in BC closing the area looky is talking about.

I have an LEH doe draw in the vicinity of those fires. I will not be looking to fill it this year.
So much of the area has been on fire or smoked out, I will give the deer a break this year.
