Hello and thanks for looking. I noticed in the 4 VZ58 kits I have that all of the locking pieces [ part that rides under the bolt] have different numbers on them . Are the numbers for different measurements for headspacing or are they just inspectors stamps ? How is headspace changed besides moving the barrels ? Thanks for any help ! Jerod

not sure about the numbers, but the headspace is controlled by the bolt. that is one piece in the parts kit that you do not use unless you check your headspace. the shiny silver piece merely locks everything up in the reciever and has nothing to do with headspace.

...I bought a parts kit from wolverine for my 858, just in case I get the gremlin that is rumoured to happen [1 FTF in about 600 rds. so far].
So from what Bingo just said if I have a problem I can't just switch the bolt and assembly without headspace issues???. Anyone know what part I should switch if I have FTF issues??? Just want to be clear on this.
