Headstamps

I have some surplus ammo that appears to be .308 and I'm wondering what the headstamp markings mean, if anybody's good with that sort of thing? Standard brass casings and FMJ bullets. Markings at 2:00, 6:00 and 10:00. They are "64", "DA" and a cross inside a circle. I assume, from the research I've done, that the "64" means it was manufactured in 1964 and the "DA" is the plant or company that made it, and apparently the cross in a circle is a NATO marking?

good accurate ammo used it in FN C1 A1
when CAF switched to IVI in Quebec accuracy went south
I loved the DA 7.62 NATO round

cross circle shows that ammo is made to NATO standard.
64 1964 date of manufacture.
