I am aware that there’s all kinds of new tech hearing protection on the market with noise cancellation etc… but I’m wondering how good they really are and do they allow good hearing to hear your surroundings while hunting ?
I always wear hearing protection while shooting for fun and practice .. but never have while hunting . I shot a coyote on Christmas Day with my .223 .. and my left ear is still ringing today
Age is catching up to my old ears I suppose . I should probably try to protect what’s left of my hearing . Anyone have experience with a good option that doesn’t hinder your hearing of your surroundings, but still offers good protection when you pull the trigger ?
Thanks .
