Greetings all:
Will a Mossberg heat shield designed for the 500 or 590 plain barrel fit on a Remington 870 marine model? Has anyone tried this and if so what was the result?????

Haha I posted this in the shotgun section. I took a look at the shield and I don't see why it wouldn't. Do me a favour and measure it and tell me the length. I am just concerned about the tube\barrel clamp being in the way. Although if any nutz want to chime in with first hand experience that would be very helpful.
