Heat Shield ??

Ive got a m500 with 18 1/2 inch barrel and have a heatshield that comes with ghost ring sights. Fits and works fine.
Or did you mean m500/590's that have ghost rings on them cant use heatshields?
Either way, I dont see why not, the heatshield ends right before the barrel locking nut so there's still lots of barrel left free if it has a front sight on it.

I have one on my full size 590 but I don't have the heavy barrel. If yours is heavy you'll have to modify whatever heat shield you have.
I fabricated one for my Mossy 14" with ghost ring sights. Looks fuc$ing wicked!!!!

Thanx guys, I appreciate the feedback. Yes LeftFoot, the Mossberg manual says you can't mount their shield on these models with GR's ??
Anyhow, I've got a heat shield waiting for the 590 form P&D I'm expecting in today. I'll let you know how many scratches and twists it takes to get er done,, just kidding.
