Heatshield

I don't know about the ATI Heatshield but I have a Tac-Star on my 870 and I love it. It's solid and looks great. That's the third best gift my wife ever gave me after my Springfield 1911 and S&W mod 29 she got me on the last two christmas.

Man do I love her!
 
MOSSBERG makes a heat shield for their guns that works well and is build solid. Check out their website ( www.mossberg.com ) to see it then see if any of the advertisers have one. I went to their sight and it says it won't fit a 590 A1 . So I looked up a 590 A1 and it probably won't fit because of the front sight and the way you have to slide the heat shield on from the front. Check closely to see how the other shields go on because they are all very similar.I have a plastic heat shield that goes one from the top and the clamp comes up from the bottom but it always looked to light so I have never installed it. If you dig you should be able to find out what MOSSBERG used on their military 590's( but maybe they weren't 590 A1's). Good luck.
