Hi everyone,
I'm shooting a old school .243 wooden BDL varminter wich is now in .308 thanks to a fellow CGN member who sold me is 700P barrel. What I've notice comparing to my friend's Winchester target rifle is that being heavier, his rifle is much more fun to shoot due having less recoil and seemed to sit more firmly on the sandbags(having to always replace the sandbags is growing on my nerves pretty quickly...).
So, wanting to eventually improve my rifle, are aftermarket stock much heavier than my old school wood varmint stock?
Can someone give me a hint about different stock weight?
(BDL, Laminated, Plastic, H&S Precision,...)
Thanks
