heavy barrel for a 22-250

I'm trying to find out if it's possible to have an extra barrel for my Thompson center icon 22-250. I bought it as a varmint rifle and it had a regular barrel, i would like to change the barrel to a heavy one. who and where could i go to purchase one? If this is even possible.

You'd have to talk to a qualified gunsmith. They would most likely be able to take your old barrel off and put a new custom barrel on. He'd order a blank and finish it to the proper dimensions and headspace it for you.
