Heavy barrel in SR-22?

Hey everyone,

This has probably already been covered but a search revealed nothing, and is probably a noob question. Anyways, I have an SR-22, and a 10/22 with a stainless bull barrel. Can I put this stainless barrel in my SR-22? If so, does this require a trip to the gunsmith?
