Hey CGN...just wondering if anyone knows if HK ever sold any of its shotguns in Canada. I know that they are already a rare breed to begin with, but wondering if and when we ever had them here.
Yes they did , Century Arms was main Distributor in Canada for many year's
You could Special Order many HK item's, Canada didn't have all the import restrictions like America did
back in the day
The actual HK shotguns like the model 502 and 512 are rare in general, I can't recall hearing about any in Canada.
In the 80's and 90's HK USA imported Benelli shotguns as their shotgun line. Any Benelli's you see marked with Heckler & Koch likely came from the US as Benelli was already exporting direct to Canadian dealers.
Since then HK USA was importing Fabarm shotguns, though I've only seen the FP6 there are apparently more available.
Thanks, lerch. I wonder how difficult it'll be to find one? Maybe a WTB to test the waters...who knows?
I've owned two HK marked Benelli M1's, and have seen the odd HK Benelli sporting shotgun appear each year. As far as the HK Fabarm, I've seen them, but they're even less common than the Benelli's. If you search for Benelli or Fabarm and search the photos you can spot the HK markings sometimes.
