Heckler & Koch MR223A3 14.5" .223Rem

Replaced the quad rail with a Geissele SMR and couldn't be happier with the result.

Temporarily have an Troy standard height HK style front sight on it, but it's too high for either the HK diopter or folding rear sights. Will wait on either Troy micros or the OEM HK fixed or folding sights to come in.

Thats a good looking gun

I imagine the new rail shaves off quite a bit of weight as the original looks quite heavy?
 
Thanks! It's actually a bit heavier being a longer rail, but the balance and overall feel of the gun has improved. It's hard to describe, but the gun although heavier feels much lighter and more "agile".
 
2 RAL left at Bulleyes, this AR is so cool, i have to restriend myself to not buy another one… Geezz.
