Just saying, roughly, covered in Deutsches Waffen Journal (01/05) [considered the worlds premiere gun mag by many], has a 51cm barrel, is 308 winchester, is made of new parts, is approved for sale in Germany.
I'm not sure but I am assuming the BKA is the Bundeskriminalampt, a German equivalent of the RCMP/FBI/ATF etc. (who if you ask nice will send you copies of old terrorist wanted posters).

Meh, I'm with cancer, someone could ask, but since I wouldn't want one...

IIRC under German law the original G3 would not be eligible for sale in Germany to civilians under any guise (like our phrohib). So Hege having gotten this passed the BKA for approval seems to have gotten (merely a presumption here, I only threw this link on here for someone I mentioned this to some time back) approval of the gun as a new item. (reminds me of the VZ58 issue, but I could be missing alot, but I also don't really care).
Clearly only semi, and Hege seems to be infering its a "new" item.
Anyway, something for people more interested in this than me to consider. Mind you, if they do have a 51cm barrel as the CFC measure it, it would be a 20in bbl :idea:


edit: Sorry, looked back at the pics. That barrel would seem to class it nicely into Non-restricted territory if the CFC accepted it as NOT being a G3 or HK91....but who knows. Hmmm



I for one will say that the G3-HK91 long eluded me (I had tried thier sporters, but not the actual G3-HK91 models), and I used to think I realllllly wanted one, until I tried one.....I don't want one anymore....Bartok5, I blame you, fair and square
