I have recently required a hunting rifle with
A interesting old scope attached
It’s quite large, and has :

Kkahles
Wein

“Helia 8 L2 “
No. 37475
Made in austria

No other information is on the scope, just wondering if anyone
Knew anything about the make or where I could
Find more information, ie magnification etc etc

It sounds like a Kahles scope, 8x, alloy tube (steel tubes are marked with an S)1960’s vintage or so. Great glass.
