Newcomer here,
Grew up hanging out at the local gun shop doing taxidermy and firearm maintenance. Always enjoyed tearing them all down into individual pieces to clean or fix issues then reassembling the gun for it to work like new. So far the most difficult gun to strip down and reassemble that I have done is a Browning BPS 12 gauge with the bottom feed/eject. Does everyone fully strip their guns from time to time? If so, what are your favourite cleaners and oils? My personal preference is Hoppe’s Elite cleaner followed by a re lube of Lucas Extreme duty oil.
