Hi all.
I'm from near Cornwall, ON, and am looking at getting my PAL. I've had an interest in military history for most of my life so far, and as a result, I am looking at getting some milsurps for collection and target shooting purposes.
I will probably be looking at a Mosin Nagant M91/30 as one of my first aquisitions. It's a beautiful rifle and, more importantly, fits my budget at this point
. Well, at least I hope to get one if we can get 7.62x54mmR imported a little more often...
Can anyone recommend any rifle clubs / ranges in the area? The closest I can find is the NCCRA practicing at Connaught, but that is over an hour away, not really practical for weeknight & Sat. morning shoots. In Cornwall, there is a handgun club, but they only allow handgun calibres.
Anyhow, this is an awesome forum - I've been lurking for a few days now, and I look forward to contributing a bit.

Caydel, you've picked a great site, if you've been lurking for awhile you'll know the challanges all gun owners are facing from left wingnut politicians and the antis. Click on the Canadian Shooting Sports icon at the top of the page and thnk real hard about signing up and beocming a supporting member, the need the members and we most definitley need the CSSA
