Hey everyone my name is Jack, I'm 15 and have been into shooting since I was five. My dad used to be in the CF and is cdnshooter on these boards and has been very supportive my interest in shooting, hunting, and reloading.

Hello and welcome. There's a lot of information here. Part of learning about this ( or anything, for that matter ), is to pick out the facts from the opinion. There's a lot of both. Enjoy the site.
 
Welcome. I started getting interested in guns when I was 15. There's lots to learn here, just remember to be respectful and responsible (although with a dad in the CF that shouldn't be too hard ;)).
 
that is true, never to young to learn. But I'm still along ways off from from outshooting my dad considering he was a sniper haha
 
my little girl is 3 years old and is showing interests in guns when ever i go to the gun shop or even take out my guns and clean them or refinish the barrel she has to be right there in the middle watching every little thing i do. so i hope she keeps it because when she is old enough to have a gun she said she wants a pink .22
 
Thanks, hope to see some of you guys out at the range sometimes, does anyone here shoot at Spruce Grove Range or Genessee Range (correct me if i spelled that wrong) in Alberta
 
Welcome...started 2 girls in junior .22 rifle 2 years ago and now the youngest at 15 is heading to Winter games representing Alberta.. out shoot dad? you bet with air rifle..now shes looking at the big stuff!..just keep it fun and take care!!
 
Wow that's impressive, like I mentioned previously I'm a long ways off from beating my dad lol but your absolutely right about having fun :)
