When I was a kid, I had a Cooey .22LR semi-automatic and loved it. Trouble was once I moved into town and got to University, I really did not have a practical use for it and my folks got rid of it. Damn! It was a nice little gun.
So now I'm back many years later and with a re-kindled interest and will be looking to acquire some sporting and hunting rifles as I really appreciate their look and feel more than the pure target genre of rifle.
Current interests: Rem .270 BDL cause I really want barrel sights. Maybe a .243 or a 7mm mag but I think a .270 is a great middle choice. Another rifle I would like is a .223 calibre Winchester or Remington or Ruger if in fact all three manufactures produce them. Opinions anyone?
Cheers and thanks for your thoughts.
