Hello Canadian Gun Nutz

The name's Mike, I've been a member for just shy of 8 months. In that time I've done a fair bit of reading on this great site which was recommended to me for it's information and knowledgable, diversified members.

I grew up watching my father shoot a few of his guns, displaying marksmanship I had never witnessed before. When he'd hand the gun to me, my nerves would get the better of me and for that, targets loved me. I joined CGN not to necessarily guide, but to learn from the collective intelligence this site has conjured up and more importantly to add to the growing number of members showing support for a hobby, sport, passion and lifestyle that has been threatened but not deterred.

I'm now 23 years of age, I am the owner of a minute collection of one shotgun, an 1969 Ithaca Model 37 that I had purchased two years back, (looking to expand into the rifle, and "restricted" realms in due time). As my profile bares, I'm a facility mechanic/building operator and Facility Technician by trade, a musician/songwriter, when I'm doing none of the aforementioned, I spend my time behind bars...ATV bars that is.

My fingers are crossed in angst, awaiting the abolishment of the famed "gun registry", with Conservative majority may we rejoice!
Happy Canada Day CGN, and may you all have a great weekend!

Interesting, a young Conservative. Guess you skipped the first phase of old Winston's quote, and right to having a brain!

You GOTTA get an M14, eh? Welcome.

Oh , you talk so good my friend and Welcome

Hang around and move to other posts so that the people wouldn't stomp on you, as it happens a lot to noobies

And wait and watch , what you say and show , people can get in lots troubles for that - Biggs
