Good day to you all - finally registered on the site . I'm a die hard Canadian but currently living in the US . I'm from Vancouver and Whistler but have lived in Toronto for a couple of years as well .

I've picked up a few firearms down here since I've been living in the States , and as we all know it's an entirely different scene down here regarding what you can add to your collections and where you can shoot , I'm downright spoiled .

Looking forward to seeing what the deal is on CGN .

Cheers , have a Canadian for me - oh and a large double double when you can.

welcome...... yes, you are spoilt .

got a question. i plan to live in the US part time , i heard they will not allow me to buys guns while im living there .

Where do you plan on moving ? I think what matters the most is where you will be a permanent resident . I'm a permanent resident here , meaning I own a home , paying taxes etc.

I had to prove that I live here of course , I have a valid US DL but other than showing 3 months of bills I was good to go . Not sure how it works for a part time situation . It also may depend on the State you will be in . Utah where I live is very VERY gun friendly . I can have a loaded chambered firearm in my truck ( or 10 ) in my glovebox now due to the recent passing of bill 357 ( great name ) down here . Carry concealed on my property if I choose . It's goofy compared to home .

No license needed other than DL to purchase anything . 33 round Glock mags , AK , AR , .50 cal Barrett . Whatever you fancy . And to go shooting ? Just head out to the desert or mountains .

Hey thanks ! I'm in Northern Utah , Ogden . I miss Canada at times pretty bad but to wind up living in the US ( job related ) I've scored pretty good . Mountains, desert, wicked snowboarding and 35 degrees and sunny every day for 7 months of the year works .

It's not a bad place . Where were you driving from ?

U.S Trip

We left from Waterloo On.We stayed 4 days in Las Vegas and made a side trip to Red Rock Canyon and Death Valley California. It was about 124 degrees F in the shade at Death Valley.Shot 3 submachine guns in Vagas,an uzi,an mp5 and a ak47, it was a blast. After Vegas we hit Hoover dam then over to the Grand Canyon which was amazing. Then headed down to Tombstone Arizona then up to monument valley and up to Yellowstone national park in Wyoming.Stopped off at the Buffalo Bill cody Firearms museum in Cody Wyoming ,spent almost the whole day there, lots to see. Then we hit the Little Bighorn Battlefield in Montana and over to Deadwood South Dakota and finally over to Mt Rushmore, then headed home.Spent 21 days on the road it was a great trip, had lots of fun and met a lot of nice people.
