Well seeing as how this is the best information site on guns for Canada I thought I join. I will be honest I don't have my license yet, but I did already took my safety courses last week for non restricted and restricted, Passed it with flying colours. Though I did have a girl wave a 12 gauge passed my head directly,f:P: she got a on the spot fail. I have been wondering alot about the Canadian laws for guns cause one person say one thing and another something else. Like for instance it says in Canadian law that you must be pinned to 5 rifle/shotgun semi auto's and 10 handgun MAGAZINES, (I know .22LR is unlimited) but what about tube loads like lever action rifles is there a limit of some kind on manual action rifles and shotguns ? Anyway alot of people here seem mature :50cal: . I'm trying to become a Millwright, I hope that one day the mag limits will be removed and people with rigorus testing can get CCW's, and I support the Liberal Party (just kidding ha: :ar15: Liberals ).

Well I dont know about the rifles, but i dont think there is a limit on how many shells your shotgun holds. Mine has an extended mag and holds 7. You do need a block if your hunting duck with it. Only allowed 3 shells in i believe, at least in NS here. And Im sure there are many here that are with you one dropping those restrictions and allowing the right to carry in Canada. We are getting rid of the registry and soon from what i hear, thats a step in the right direction. You never know, politicians might just come to their senses and notice that citizens are not the ones to be worried about.
