Hello from a newbie gun owner and forum member

Hello Canadian Gun Nutz,

I got my PAL a few months ago. Ever since this new world of firearms ownership has been opened to me, I have been enjoying my every minute in it. I am obviously new to the forum too.

I am eager to learn, so feel free to give me pointers and share your experiences with me. I'm looking forward to talking to more of you folks here.

Thank you. To answer your question, I currently own a Mossberg maverick 88 pump shotgun. It is my first and only firearm. I have shot two games of trap with it. Before I got my own firearm, I shot my friend’s Winchester Model 12 pump, his Mauser bolt action rifle and his Ruger 10/22 at the range.
 
Nice! I have a mossberg myself, 590a1 love it! Nice you got to try a few different types of actions out! Enjoy your 88 and whatever else comes your way. Good choice for choice for only gun ( probably end up with more though heheh) you can hunt, target and defend if you hike in bear country.

Yes, I would definitely end up with more than the 88 haha. I just didn't want to spend too much on my first gun, but so far I am enjoying it.
