I am looking forward to be part of this community. I am in my 40s now, had a couple .22s and .410 in my teenage years but did not do any shooting from then until about 9 years ago when I decided to go hunting. Took the CORE course and the instructor suggested I do the restricted course as well which I did. Shortly after that I got into Cowboy Action shooting. Lots of fun and great people.
I did get around to some bird hunting and the last few years tried my hand at deer hunting. Unfortunately, I have not cut any tags yet but this will be the year! I got an LEH for moose in region 7 and so looking forward to the hunting trip, the wife is not too happy how eager I am to go.
After all the cowboy action I am very comfortable with levers so I am replacing my bolt action with a BLR which I have on order and eagerly waiting its arrival.
I would like to do more duck/goose hunting in the lower mainland, if there are folks looking for company let me know. Thanks.
