Hello from Calgary(& Saskatchewan)

Calgary...yee haw!
I'm a newbie in Calgary, shot mostly 22's, over & under/pump 12ga's, and a bunch of pistols & a few ARs. I sold all my guns and just getting into the pistols & ARs, but also interested in long range shooting. I was fortunate enough to have a provincially-rated shooter as a colleague a few years ago and learned to shoot target with rifles, and got hooked.

I posted a few new threads on pistols & AR, mainly asking questions & advice before I buy a pistol & an AR. CGN is a great site and populated with awesome, helpful, experienced shooters! Where have you been all these years?

I went to school in Edmonton - still cheer for Oilers... Airdrie(jst N of Calgary), effectively a suburb of Saskatchewan has a trailer & a boat in every driveway, a truck with a skidoo, and probably a half dozen rifles of some sort in every basement.

How are the people from Bashaw sports in Edmonton to deal with for advice on pistols?

Still cheer for the Oilers? Ahh, the sign of a true optimist. I guess we all are these days, but look at it this way: LOTS of room for improvement.:D
As for Bashaw Sports, I can't really say since I've never been to Bashaw, but I have heard good things about the outfit. You might want to check them out.
