:wave:Been lurking around for awhile and decided to do the polite thing..

I'm currently in the CF posted to the local base (Comox). Ex - combat arms (Combat engineer) so I have quite a bit of shooting experience, although none over the last few years (requalification isn't a priority here)

Looking to get PAL's for myself and my wife and would be interested in taking the safety course - my wife has never fired anything in her life.

Guess I'll eventually head down to the lical sporting shops to try and link up with an instructor, unless someone on the forum is close by?

Would someone on the base be able to run your safty course and exam for you ? I have no actual clue if you could or not, but maybe an RO would be able to run it. It might save you from having to drive ( not that that's a bad thing either ! I found driving on Van Is fantastic ) I challenged my PAL and RPal about 3 weeks ago at AHEIA here in Calgary.
