Hello from Edmonton Alberta

Hello everyone my name it Tory and I live just outside of Edmonton in a little city called Spruce Grove. I have sent away for my PAL in every Dec and as I have been reading it is still going to take some time for it to come back. I have not hunted or been around guns since my late teens when I would go with my father, now as I am a father ( 4 times over ) I want to continue on with my kids. Looking forward to talking to everyone.

thanks

You will have to sign up to see the EE forum

welcome to Nutz, there are quite a few of us hanging around edmonton

you may want to edit your profile and add your location :)

Hey there, there is a three gun shoot next sunday ( jan 14) at phoenix range. Come on down & watch the action. During the summer, it is held at the spruce grove outdoor range, north of town. Hell of a good way to spend your sunday. I go in & shoot regularly and you are welcome to burn some of my powder if we can coordinate a time.

And even a few from Fort McMuck!

Welcome, and if you are concerned about someone giving you a hard time because you don't know something, don't sweat it! If you ignore the flakes, they lose interest and go away, or you can always PM someone who seems reasonable and ask for info or help. We are here because this is something that we enjoy and want to share.

I strongly suggest that you read some of the forums, some of the opinions expressed may be kind of off the wall, but the issues raised can be important to all of us.

Cheers

Welcome! Edmonton is blessed with two indoor ranges (Wild West and Phoenix), several local outdoor ranges (Spruce Grove, Edmonton Gun Club, Sherwood Park), and lots of crown land within easy drivin' distance.

We also have a couple of good gun stores and one great one (P&D), and even a few good gunsmiths. Hard to find a better place for shooters!

WOW, what a great reponse from everyone!!! thanks. Well I got my P.A.L. today (34 days) which was pretty fast. Picking up a savage 7mm bolt action and a ruger 10/22 to waste some ammo. After reading all the forums I thinks these guns will be good to start with. Planning on joining up with the spruce grove gun range might see you out there. :runaway:
