HI!My name is Walter,and i'm a 42yr old from Edmonton.I've been target shooting and small game hunting since i've been 3yrs old.For the last 10 yrs i have'nt done much shooting,but want to dive head first back into it!Most of my shooting is done with rimfire and airguns.I have been surfing around this forum for a couple of weeks,and find it an amazing source of info.I'm hoping to find some people around the Edmonton area to go target shooting and hunting with in the future.Thanks,Walter

Welcome, Walter. Congratulations on rediscovering your passion for shooting sports. I might be able to take you up on your offer to do some shooting or hunting one of these days. At this time of the year all my free time goes into hunting and watching my kids' sports teams kick butt. After Christmas I'll be working on winter project guns and going target shooting once in a while.

Thanks for the welcome guys!At the moment,i have four rimmies.
-Cooey model 39 that was given to me by my dad for my 5th birthday!
-Cooey model 60 that was my dads(that i got when he passed away)
-Ruger 1022
-Brno model 3 with the 27" bbl
The Cooeys are'nt worth much in dollar value,but i would'nt sell them for a million dollars!The memories of my dad and i gopher hunting with them make them worth more money than anyone could offer me!!
I used to go rabbit and grouse hunting around Redwater and Bon Accord area up until 15 yrs ago,and have'nt hunted there since!I did take a few grouse with my airguns around the outskirts of Edmonton last year,but thats about it.It's been so long since i have been out shooting,i've lost all of my hunting grounds and don't have a clue on where to go anymore!
So,boy o boy do i have the shooting bug now!!
I would love to get back into the plinking scene again!Walter
