Hey, i just found this site and though i should check it out, insted of the american gun sites i have been going to.
My names Dean im 15 (yes only 15), i know a ton about guns i have been reading magizines, books, and have been shooting since i was 8. I know alot more about guns/ballistics then most of my dads friends that i hang around with after work. I will soon be geting into pistol shooting, since i live with my mother, she made a deal with me that if i got good grades though grade 9 that she would get her resticted, well i did and we will be sending the forms of shortly. I have lots of expierance with Shotguns and rifles of all diffirent kinds of actions, Break/pump, ect. I have only handled a dozen our so pistols and only shot a glock .40 and a old WW1 pistol, but i know lots about pistols as well.
well thats it for know i will be commenting when i can and posting Pictures in the near future.

No i dont think you can get one, i do have a minors PAL though, i said my Mother was geting one.
 
Hi kid, well you got a good first name any ways. Not too many of us Dean's around these days. Welcome to the site, I'm down the road Oxford county.

Anyways, yes, very good for you and your mom. Glad to see she was willing to step up to the plate and help her son out. My wife has been shooting pistols for about three years now... and loves it.
Good luck and keep up the good grades. There is absolutely nothing more valuable at this time than a good education. It will be the door for all your future endevours.

Dean 1911, mom has to join a shooting club for either of you to shoot restricted. It won't be cheap. Don't get discouraged if life gets in the way.
Where in Essex are you? Or are you in the town of? I'm thinking Army Cadets or Militia. You can join at 16. They're all in Winsdor though. Think Windsor Regmt. Armoured Recce. The most fun you can have with your pants on. C7's, C8's, etc. And you get paid as a militia plug.
 
Welcome, Dean. You've taken up an interest in a great hobby and sport.
Even though you feel you know "lots", don't stop learning. There just might be some older fogies out there that can still teach you a thing or two. ;) You never stop learning.....ever.

I'm from Windsor, but I had a girlfriend that lived in Essex...but that was in 1988!

Ya, i was in army cadets for a while at the windor armories, and im in gesto by the way, i liked it alot but my friend that was driving me in quit so i couldnt get a ride in. but planning on joining the army when 16.
