Hello from Halton Hills!

Hello!
My name is Dan and I live in Halton Hills. I've had my PAL for approx. 7 years but only started shooting this year. Joined a handgun club and I'm currently trying to get my pattern a lot smaller! I am also looking to buy AR pieces (lowers, uppers, that sort of thing) to build one up and do some learning at the same time!
Lots of questions, but I'll see if they're answered anywhere else!

Hi Old Ranger.
At our Dec. 2 meeting, our club pres. said that the bylaw was getting thrown out and that attendance at the 14th would not be necessary! happy news!
There is still a chance that we would have to go, but we're waiting on the council meeting results on Tuesday.

Some council tricks are to tell you it's not going to be on the agenda.
The more that show up on the 15th the better. Lets council know to tread carefully.
The more of you that show up early to mention to council members that your there to speak against it the better.

I recently asked a couple of full frontal n00b AR lower questions on the Black & Green Rifle subforum here, and got serious, useful answers. The resident AR crowd here appear to be true enthusiasts who'll welcome the chance to watch somebody else spend his way to oblivion, erm, make that help a new shooter build a safe, reliable rifle.
