Welcome Dr Gonzo from another member from the Loops. KTSA is a great range to belong to and the best thing is that for only $90, you get access to the two outdoor ranges as well as the indoor range ($2 for every visit there but a paltry sum). Mark at the Powderkeg had a couple of cases of surplus 7.62x39 but I'm a little hazy on round count and price for each case.

i still have some 7.62x39, but i want some 7.62x51 . but with the shortage of supply these days i'm not sure if its any better price than what i can get at the gun shops.

you know Gonzo...I'm thinking that the surplus ammo mentioned is actually longer then 39mm, but I could be wrong. best bet would be to call Powder Keg and get the information direct. I just know that whatever it is, it's $199 for 1150 rounds.
