Hello from Peterborough

Hi everyone. I just passed my restricted course last thursday, and I'm excited about saving up and buying my first handgun.

I'm in Peterborough Ontario,married with two daughter, and I'm 37 next week.
I hunt and fish, and camp and wakeboard, love the cottage, play drum in a death metal band, and I'm also into veggie gardening.

I'm very focused on building up survival skills and total self reliance, but I'm new to that game.

I don't know anything about guns, other than how to load and shoot safely, but as far as model and makes go, I am starting from scratch, so have patience because I am here to learn.

Another Peterborough native! welcome, have your been out to Peterborough Revolver and Pistol Club? im on my last two probationary shoots there and will be a member within the month. Sounds like you and i have allot of similar interests, survival, gardening, camping etc. I am playing the waiting game with my PAL as well they just received my application today. the knowledge in these forums is outstanding, your in the right place. check out the EE lost of pistols to look at to get a feel for cost etc. I'm in the market for a SIG SAUER p226 in 9mm or p220 in .45 ACP.
