Hello from Québec
Hi, everyone
Tomorrow morning I'll be walking over the local police station with both the 921 and 1125 (Québec only) forms, and applying for a PAL. I'll be licensed for restricted and non-restricted firearms; I received my hunting certificate (card) last week.
CGN was the most frequently listed site when searching for a Canadian forum, so I decided to join. I figure this would be a good place to stay on top of the latest Canadian firearms discussions and laws, as it seemed difficult to find anything firearms-related that did not pertain to the States, at least discussion-wise. I also want to become more knowledgeable about firearms in general, and learn any and all the relevant terminology.
I convinced two of my buddies to get licensed as well, so at least I will not be learning alone. Nevertheless, I think I can do some good learning from a community of veteran firearm owners.
