Hello from Red Deer

I just moved to red deer this winter from kamloops, to start my apprenticeship. Finally got my Pal in the mail last fall after a long wait, now with some money comin in, i'm looking forward to starting my collection. Joined this site in the fall, now time to start checking up more frequently as hunting season is just around the corner
 
I have no money coming in. All goes towards school tuition. I basically buy guns with my line of credit, and thats not disappearing for at least a few years. So good for you.
 
Welcome. There is a nice in door range down by the armories.
What are you taking? What guns are you looking for.
I live about 1/2hr north east.

Nice town, lived there for a few years. Bashaw sports is a good source for guns as Is Cdn Tire in Red Deer south and a couple of shops on the north hill
 
Thanks for the kind welcome, probably gonna look for a .45-70 to start with, don't ask me why, just kinda had a fix on them, would be nice for still hunting, or spring bear, although, i dont think its gonna be too worthwhile to head out for a couple weeks as its still cold and snow on the ground around rocky. Its been about the only place near here that ive been to that doesn't seem to be all private land
 
The Canadian Tire on the southside had a couple nice Marlins in .45-70 that I was drooling over on the weekend. In my experience as an avid window shopper, the south Can Tire usually has the best prices in town, and on the net.
