Hello, fellow gun nuts!

I'm in the "sunny south", in Barnwell County, South Carolina. Been in the Carolinas all my life, but traveled extensively during my career with a major chemical company. Even set up a lab in Toronto back in the 80's.

I'm a collector of military surplus small arms, and occasionally shoot on my property. I have a 160-yard range. Shooting here is legal, but I have frequently had visits from deputy sheriffs as a result of neighbors calling about the noise (are Mosin-Nagants and Garands loud?!?).

I recently bought a Cooey .22 trainer, and that's how I ended up finding this forum, trying to discover some facts about that rifle.

Glad to be here, and hope I can contribute my limited knowledge, and glean some experience and knowledge from you gun nuts here.

Welcome from the North. We are still aloud to shoot on our own property here as well, unless it is a restricted weapon. I am sure you will find this site very friendly and informative.

Welcome to the Great White North.
Don't be shocked at the BS we must put up with as firearms owners.
Remember it could happen to you if you let your guard down like we did.

Welcome aboard . Make sure Obama and Hellary go down in flames .

Welcome

Welcome aboard. How lucky you are to be in the same state as BDL ltd. If you dont already know him, Brian #### is a first rate guy to deal with for milsurps.
Again, welcome.

Hello!

My family and I loved our trip to SC this summer.

I visited two very fine and friendly gunshops/ranges in Myrtle Beach and
I hope to spend much more time in SC in the future.

You really have to get more state CCW reciprocity, though.:D:D

I got a speeding ticket in August in SC. Stupid planes, how I'm a suppose to know to slow down if I can't see the whats watching me?? $180us on the spot. Nice cop though. Anways, welcome!!

CWP reciprocity is complex. But if someone with CWP in SC sends in a few bucks with the form to New Hampshire, suddenly you're covered in a long list of states. Same thing with Florida. We have no agreement with Georgia, for example, but the New Hampshire permit is good in GA. Go figure.

Welcome fellow gunner!!! Americans are always welcome(unless your the likes of Michael Moore or Rosie O'donnell or any other lefty) we've got lots of lefty Socialist up here and on this site as well.......don't be afraid to tell the anti Americans to go p!$$ off. I love South Carolina......a state with "stones"(1861 A.D.):50cal:
