Hello,
My name is Rob, and I'm from New Brunswick, just outside Saint John. I have been taught to respect firearms from an early age, and am finally going to take the CFSC this August. From what I have seen the Canadian firearms community is very close-knit and helpful. I look forward to joining the community and am proud to be surrounded by others with the same beliefs.
 
Hey Rob... Also a newbie here and from Southern NB.... just west of SJ, near St. George! I'm just getting back into weapons ownership and just successfully challenged the "restricted" CFSC.
 
Just figured I'd post an update.
I've just completed the hunter's safety part of the course, and started the firearms course today. According to the instructors, we will be done next Saturday, and testing will be done on the 25th. I will update when I have completed the course.
 
Hello again.
I just got my paperwork signed today, saying that I completed the Firearms Safety Course. Passed with 100% on both parts. Now to send the forms in and play the waiting game. I'm hoping to get in to the next restricted course, which is in September.
 
As soon as I get my PAL, I'm going to join the St.Martins gun club. There's a gravel pit they shoot at out at Orange Hill. Once I get my restricted, I'll join the Hampton Pistol and Rifle club. Hopefully the process doesn't take too long to get my licences. Anyways, thanks for the offers to help, guys. I'm looking forward to getting my PAL.
 
Great to hear! I joined the Hampton Pistol and Rifle club and they're a great crew with a wealth of knowledge. Looking forward to meeting you at some point.
