Welcome, from another former Surrey-ite. Mostly grew up and went to school in the lovely metropolis of Whalley, just off 140th between Grosvenor and 108th.

Hah, you weren't too far away from me. I live on 140th and a 100th. Did you go to Guildford Park as well?

Nope, I went to Len Shepherd Jr. and then to Q.E. - class of '87  .

Wow, there's lots of Surrey people on this board - cool.

Wel,, that's not really a surprise James. Surrey and guns go together like, well, like Surrey and pit bulls ;) . I know, I know - stereotype for sure - but a LOT of the guys I grew up with owned pit bulls so there is a lot of truth to it. :D Ah, I harken back to the days of Macks (jackets for those not in the know :p ), and Daytons for the guys who could afford them. Also, zip around girl's jeans and the black leather jackets with the seams running up and down in the front and back - you remember them i'm sure :) .

Oh man, I was freakin' born in 1987.

BWAAHHAAAHHAAAAA!!!! That cracks me up. So, you grew up in the Surrey of the Viet Cong grow ops and the crack houses rather than the Surrey of the Whalley Burnouts and smoking up behind the Stardust roller rink :onCrack: - times sure have changed in that neck of the woods. It was never really a nice place to live per se but it was ours and we made the most of it. It's sad to drive through my old neighbourhood these days and see how things have changed :( .
