Hello from the flatlands

Hello CGNs. I've been lurking here for a few months; I thought it was about time to stand up and say hello.

I live in Saskatoon, but my roots and shooting activities tend towards West Central Saskatchewan. After being away from guns for many years, I recently fell into an opportunity to do some coyote hunting so I got my PAL and have since bought a couple of coyote rifles. (Mini-14 and Tikka T3) I'm having a blast doing that, and so are the coyotes.

I've also started (what I hope will be) a small collection of milsurp rifles. I took delivery of a Lee-Enfield No4. Mk1 today, and am expecting a Mosin Nagant later this week.

I've joined the local Wildlife Federation, but will probably do most of my shooting at the farm.

I've learned a lot already from the reading I've done here but I can see there is much more to learn.

Come a bit south to Regina and you'll be in the wetlands. Welcome aboard. You should check out Saskatoon Gunworks indoor range. They can do handguns, 22's and shotguns in there. I make it a point to spend a day and a few hundred rounds whenever I go up to 'toontown.

Yeah, I've had a quick look at their range. SGW is where I wrote my PAL exam. I just might go for my RPAL and take up handguns as well.
