Hello from the Niagara Peninsula

Hello all,

I'm located in the Niagara Peninsula, just east of Hamilton, ON.

My shooting experiences/interests include: precision rifle, hunting, and IDPA.

I'm interested in suggestions for rifle ranges in the Stoney Creek area, and would like to find a range that extends to 400-600m (or more).

I'm also interested in gunsmith recommendations - specifically for someone who does rugged iron sight applications for dangerous game rifles, and any Canadian companies who do epoxy-type firearms painting.

400-600 m dont know of any.
They do sometimes have precision shoots at Winona military range

Silverdale is your best bet they have a 200 yad range

Those longer ranges are few and far between.
I know Borden has them, but how accessable they are to civilians...

Hit the Ontario rifle assocaition web site at www.ontariorifleassociation.org and you can find information on the Winnona and Cedar Springs ranges.

Thanks all. I may have an "in" with the DND folks, so will see what's involved in getting range privileges at Winona, and will check out Silverdale too.
