Finally made it! Passed the tests and mailed in my paperwork this morning. Its only been since Oct, 2004 that I have been trying on and off to take the course. (Work / life kept getting in the way) But it's done now...

I'll most likely be cruising the rimfire section the most as I am interested in a Ruger 10-22 stainless / synthetic as my first riffle. I think its a good choice for a first riffle...
 
Ruger 10/22 are a sweet gun, not great off the shelf, but there is so much that can be done to them to make them a custom, and unique firearm!!

Welcome to CGN i have only been here for a little while but it's a great site.I just bought a ruger 10/22T it has been alot of fun and it is a great choice for a first riffle.Looking forward to seeing you in the rimfire section

I will try and use my psychic powers and say that your first accesory for your 10/22 is .... a 30 round mag ! stainless / synth is a sweet combo !
